Finding the right wedding venue in London can be a difficult task! So I’ve put this post together to give you some inspiration about the 10 best London wedding venues that I’ve photographed as a London based wedding photographer, as well as some hot new comers that might tickle your fancy!
The White Horse Inn - A very cool gastro pub, with amazing interior décor, which fuses together a vintage and modern style. Nestled in a pedestrian-only square, this is a hidden gem giving you a real sense of seclusion in the middle of the city. Location: 2 Exchange Square, London.
Eltham Palace - Art Deco mansion with a lavish style interior that recreates the atmosphere of the 1930’s. The Palace has one of the most stunning entrance halls I have ever seen and the gardens are beautiful with some picture postcard areas, like the timber moat bridge. Location: Court Yard, Greenwich, South East London.
Trafalgar Tavern - The place where history meets present day’s modern standards. All your guests will get the best view of the River Thames reflecting through the windows of the Ballroom or the Admiral’s Bar. Location: Park Row, Greenwich, South East London.
Mercers Hall – A beautiful building with a stunning interior, a mixture of luxurious colours, furnishing and grandiose accessories. With its own little chapel, the venue is perfect if you want ceremony and reception in the same place. Location: Ironmonger Lane, Central London.
Kenwood House – A villa built in the Georgian style, very famous for its painting collections by Rembrandt and Turner and set in the middle of Hampstead Heath. The orangery is simply fantastic for larger weddings and Kenwood’s rooms reflect authentic historical settings. Location: 114 Gloucester Place, Hampstead, North London.
Boiler House – For something a little bit quirkier Boiler House is a contemporary space inside Battersea Power Station. The venue will stun your guests, with its translucent roof and views of the Power station from an external viewing deck, rarely seen by the public. Location: Gate 2, 188 Kirtling Street, South London.
The Savoy – One of London’s first luxury hotels has been lovingly restored back to its former glory thanks to a £100 million makeover. If you’re looking for a luxurious central London hotel that oozes class and sophistication then look no further, the Grande dame of London has re-opened its doors once again. Location: Strand, London.
Shoreditch House – A private members club and part of the Soho House Group, built over three floors in trendy Shoreditch. In total contrast to the Savoy, Shoreditch House is a contemporary warehouse, mixing the contemporary with urban design and even boasts its own two-lane bowling alley and a rooftop terrace with a retractable glass roof. One for the cool kids! Location: Ebor Street, Shoreditch, East London.
Chiswick House – Chiswick House is a beautiful 18th century villa with classic Italian architecture, stunning gardens, a superb pavilion, an elegant courtyard and a beautifully restored courtyard. This is a romantic spot in spectacular settings in the heart of West London: Burlington Lane, West London.
One Whitehall Place – Its white marble staircases and opulent décor in each of the halls combined with a touch of modernism such as the stained glass ceilings will definitely impress everyone. The building has earned its grade I listed status and is regarded as one of the best wedding venues in London. Location: 2 Whitehall Court, Westminster, London
